SM Calculators ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website smcalc.com - a free online tools platform offering 500+ tools across 33 categories. SM Calculators Ltd is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website.

• Contact forms: Name, email address and message content when you contact us via our Contact Us page.
• Account registration (optional): Email address, chosen username and password (hashed).
• Tool submissions & submissions: Name, email, website URL and tool details submitted via the Submit Tool form.
• Newsletter sign-up: Email address only.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, tools used, referral source and device type - collected via Google Analytics 4.
• Technical data: IP address (anonymised), browser type and version, operating system, screen resolution and language preference.

2.3 Information NOT Collected

For file-processing tools (PDF Tools, Image Tools etc.), files are processed in-browser or via stateless server processing and are permanently deleted within 1 hour. We do not read, index or retain file content. For text tools, processing occurs entirely in your browser - no text is transmitted to our servers.

3.How We Use Your Information

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces significant legal effects.

• Contact form data: Retained for 24 months then securely deleted.
• Account data: Retained until account deletion request, then deleted within 30 days.
• Analytics data: Retained for 14 months (Google Analytics default) then aggregated/anonymised.
• Marketing emails: Email addresses retained until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribes are honoured within 10 business days.

SM Calculators operates from India.
